I am sitting at a caribou in Edina waiting for a meeting with a client and I felt an urge to blog :)
I am officially graduated! Does it feel good? Yes it does!!! I have really been able to enjoy each day and everything I am learning.. whether it be through photography or just general life. I started a new job at First Day Photo (Thank you Ginger!) at Abbott Northwestern Hospital photographing the new born babies. I love it. Well.. I will be quiet honest, at first I did not know if that was the right route for me! I had only photographed a few babies before I took this job, so I was a little nervous! They aren't like engagement session where I can just tell the baby how to smile! But the more I am doing it, the more I liking it. I have learned so much over the past few weeks.. even just about giving birth! (I will be a pro when I have a baby! hehe). I have really enjoyed getting to know Jessica (my boss) and Ginger also (who is photographing my wedding in April.. I am SO excited.. check out her blog.. www.gingermurray.blogspot.com ) who has been incredibly helpful with getting my business going! Both are amazing people and I am very blessed that God has brought them into my life!
Outside of photography life is good.. a little over 2 months and I will be married! Matt and I just finished putting together out invites last night and are ready to be mailed out, that felt really good to get that done.. I was starting to worry that they would never get finished :) We also started painting Matt's town home.. this "guy/ game room" is a lake side blue.. which I LOVE! and then my office.. (yes I get a office! I have already started decorating!) is a raseberry and lima bean green color. My wonderful mom made us a beautiful quilt for our bed that has brown, lime, and pink in it so I think the next project will be painting the bedroom brown. I am very lucky to have a soon to be mother in law who loves to paint! I love watching our soon to be home start to come together.
oh yes.. and we got a cat! Her name is Lucy and I will post pictures of her soon.. she is adorable..and spoiled already!
I hope every one is doing well! I can't wait until the summer.. it needs to warm up!
